Individual & group-based activities
Moreton Bay Able Anglers’s offer both 1 on 1 and group fishing sessions. Our sessions are designed so you can try and learn new things, make new friends and get involved in your community. As per your goals.
The aim is to assist you to:
Be part of the community
Be assisted to become independent
Be assisted to spend time with friends
Group-based social outings
Participating in regular fishing activity group
Attending recreational events such as mini fishing competitions
Attending BBQ fishing sessions with our other participants
What NDIS Funding does this service come under (if any)?
According to the NDIS funding guides and documentation, there are several areas our service falls under;
CORE: Social & Community Participation
Tuition fees, art classes, sports coaching and similar activities that build skills and independence. Camps, classes and vacation activities that have capacity building, mentoring or peer support and individual skill development.
CAPACITY BUILDING: Social & Community Participation
Recreation, peer support, community participation, life choices, active ageing, community access programs, vacation care, Out of School Hours Care (OOSH), weekend programs, flexible respite, centre based respite, group fitness for people with disability.
Are Moreton Bay Able Anglers registered NDIS Service Providers?
Moreton Bay Able Anglers are not official NDIS registered providers, however, we are registered for GST, provide Tax Invoices and provide a service full of awesomeness to our participants and carers.
