Our Event Details

Able Anglers was designed in 2014 and commenced in 2016.

Our history is very exciting, originally the only dedicated Disability Fishing Service Provider on and around Bribie Island, our first ever session was conducted on the Bongaree Jetty during the day and night.

As our company has expanded and become well known, we will never forget our history or the people and companies who have helped Able Anglers along the way.  Come and join us on an amazing history tour of where we started, where we spent most of our waking hours.

This trip will include a cruise from Shorncliffe, hugging the Redcliffe Coast Line, you will see Redcliffe from a new perspective including the famous Red Cliffs, Scarborough Reef, Deception Bay, Sandstone Point, Bongaree and so much more.

On our journey, Able Anglers will serve an amazing free breakfast for all participants and support workers onboard, for lunch, we will stop at the Sandstone Point Hotel and jump off and have some lunch by the Pumicestone Passage.

We will then visit several locations around Bribie Island with an explanation and tour.  If time is on our side, we will pull up to the Bongaree Jetty and grab some ice creams for everyone onboard and a walk around the Bongaree Jetty showing you the fishing spots, tricks and tips of where fish are caught at the jetty.  There will be fishing included in this trip also.

The total trip cost is $290 per participant. Support Worker/Carer accompanying a participant is no additional costs.
This trip is limited to 10 x participants. To book this amazing trip, contact our team today.
